Anxiety and Depression

Healing from Trauma, Anxiety, and Depression

Life can feel overwhelming when you're carrying the heavy weight of trauma, anxiety, or depression. It’s like trying to move forward while constantly being pulled back by something you can’t quite shake. Maybe you feel like you’re trapped in a cycle—one where no matter how hard you try, the same painful emotions keep surfacing. You might be wondering, Why do I feel this way? Why can’t I just move on?

If you’ve experienced trauma, the past might not feel like it’s in the past. It lingers in unexpected ways—through triggers that bring back painful memories, feelings of numbness or detachment, or a deep sense of unease, even in moments that should feel safe. You may struggle with trust, relationships, or even just feeling at home in your own body.

Anxiety can feel like being stuck on high alert, constantly scanning for danger, even when everything seems fine. Your mind races, your body tenses, and the "what ifs" seem endless. Maybe you find yourself overanalyzing conversations, struggling with perfectionism, or feeling like you have to keep everything together—even when you’re barely holding on.

Depression can make everything feel heavy, like you’re carrying a weight that no one else can see. It can drain the joy out of things you once loved and leave you feeling disconnected from yourself and others. Some days, it might be hard to get out of bed, to find the motivation to do even the simplest things. The loneliness can feel unbearable, even when you’re surrounded by people. You might think, Will I ever feel like myself again?

If any of this resonates with you, please know that you are not alone. The pain you’re feeling is real and valid, but I want you to know that these feelings don’t define you. You are not broken. You are enough. You are special. You deserve love and healing. There is hope. Healing is possible.

I see you. I hear you. And I want to help you find a way forward—one that brings relief, hope, and a sense of peace.

How I Can Help

I understand how difficult it can be to open up about your pain, but you don’t have to go through this alone. I provide a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can share your story at your own pace. Together, we will explore the emotions that feel overwhelming, painful or scary, to gently untangle the thoughts and feelings that keep you stuck, to help you heal, let go of the hurt and fear, and to regain a sense of balance and control.

Using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), I will help you connect with and process your emotions in a way that fosters healing. We will work to shift patterns of self-doubt, fear, and emotional isolation, creating space for self-compassion and deeper connections with those around you. This process is about helping you feel safe within yourself, strengthening your ability to navigate life's challenges with resilience and confidence.

You don’t have to be “fixed” because you are not broken. What you need is support, understanding, and the right tools to help you heal. And that’s exactly what I’m here to provide. No matter how long you’ve been struggling, it’s never too late to find relief, regain hope, heal and start feeling like yourself again.

I know how overwhelming it can be to reach out for help, and I want you to know that you will be met with warmth, empathy, and understanding. You don’t have to put on a brave face here—this is a space where you can be real, where your pain and struggles are honored, and where your healing begins. Together, we’ll explore the patterns keeping you stuck and gently uncover the emotions and experiences that need healing. You don’t have to walk this road alone—I’m here to help you every step of the way.
