Trauma
If you have experienced trauma in any form, (which I feel all of us have to some extent), may I express my compassion and sympathy. Trauma comes in countless forms, numerous situations, and affects people differently. It can lead to PTSD, depression, anxiety, low self-worth, and even suicide.
Some of the means of trauma include: sexual abuse, physical abuse, emotional abuse, betrayal trauma (infidelity, pornography/sexual addiction) of a partner, abandonment, neglect, religious abuse, death of a loved one, (family, friend, four-legged family member, etc.), grief, mental and physical health issues, stress, and countless other situations.
